Message from David Jackson
(RALC evaluator for Fayetteville Region):

Subject: NCTeach and Praxis Prep

NCTeach has an online program that may be of interest to Lateral Entry employees in meeting their LE requirements. The website statewide is www.ncteach.net and the email address is ncteach@ga.unc.edu. Also, FSU has a program and the email for it is ejordan@uncfsu.edu. This sounds like a good alternative for some LE people to meet all of their pedagogy requirements in a 12 month period. Applications can be downloaded from the website.

Also, if space is available some of the courses can be taken without enrolling in NCTeach. MG Science Methods, MG Math Methods, Math 9-12 Methods, and EC Methods are all available at FSU through the NCTeach program. Contact ejordan@uncfsu.edu for further inforamation.

Dr. White from FSU will be running a series of Praxis workshops if any of your people are interested. Contact sandra ellliott at learninglinkseducationalcenter@yahoo.com for information
